PTE Mini Tests
Don't have 2 hours for a full mock exam? Our Mini Tests are 15–20 minute intensive drills designed to keep your skills sharp and focus on the highest-weight tasks.
Why use Mini Tests?
Consistency is more important than duration. These drills allow you to:
- Maintain Momentum: Fit PTE practice into a busy workday or commute.
- Target Weaknesses: Focus specifically on the modules where you struggle most.
- Reduce Burnout: High-intensity practice without the fatigue of a Full Practice Test.

Maximize Your Mini Test
1. Treat it like the real thing
Even though it's short, do not pause. Use a headset and sit in an upright position to simulate the test center environment.
2. Review the Score Immediately
Since the test is short, spend 10 minutes reviewing your answers. For Listening Fill in the Blanks, pay close attention to plural 's' and past tense 'ed' errors.
3. Track Your Progress
Consistent scores in Mini Tests are a great indicator of your readiness for Practice Test 1 or higher.
Continue Your Prep
Once you've mastered the mini-drills, step up to the next level:
- Ready for a challenge? Try the PTE Mixed Tests.
- Aiming for a specific score? Read the 65 Guide or 79 Guide.
- Need a plan? Follow our 6-Week Training Plan.
