IELTS Listening tests your ability to understand spoken English in everyday and academic situations. You hear each recording only once, so you need to listen carefully, follow the questions closely and write accurate answers under time pressure.

IELTS Listening Test Format

The IELTS Listening test has four sections and 40 questions. The sections become more difficult as the test continues.
