Choose the correct answer from A, B, C or D. Look for synonyms and paraphrasing in the reading text. Practice with IELTS Reading Tests.
True / False / Not Given
Decide if the statement agrees with the text. "Not Given" means the information is not included. This question type appears in both Academic Reading and General Reading.
Matching Headings
Match the correct heading to each paragraph. Focus on the main idea, not details. This task is common in IELTS Academic Reading.
Sentence Completion
Complete sentences using words from the text. Follow word limits carefully and check spelling.
Summary Completion
Fill in missing words in a summary of the text. Answers appear in order and require scanning skills.
Short Answer Questions
Answer questions using words from the passage. Follow instructions such as "NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS".
Matching Information
Match statements to paragraphs. The answers do not always follow the text order. This question type appears in many IELTS Reading Tests.
Diagram / Table Completion
Complete diagrams, tables or charts using information from the reading passage. Look for numbers, labels and key vocabulary.
