Linguaskill is an online English test developed by Cambridge English.
It is designed mainly for companies, universities, and organisations that need a fast and reliable way to assess English levels.

1. What Linguaskill measures

The test evaluates the main language skills used in professional and academic situations:

  • Reading

  • Listening

  • Writing

  • Speaking

Each skill can be taken separately or together, depending on what the organisation wants to measure.

2. Adaptive testing (how it works)

Linguaskill is an adaptive test.

This means:

  • The computer changes the difficulty of the questions depending on the candidate’s answers.

  • If you answer correctly → the questions become more difficult.

  • If you answer incorrectly → the questions become easier.

Because of this system:

  • the test is shorter

  • the level is more precise

  • results are available very quickly
